The South Carolina Women in Law Enforcement Association (SCWLE) was founded with a transformative vision to support and empower professionals in law enforcement across our great state.

Mission Statement

The South Carolina Women in Law Enforcement Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of individuals who serve or support the vital role of law enforcement across federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.

Our mission is to:

  • Promote the achievements and address the needs of both women and men in the law enforcement profession.

  • Foster an environment of growth, professional development, and success through education, mentorship, and networking opportunities across all disciplines of law enforcement.

  • Serve as a trusted resource for law enforcement leaders in tackling shared challenges—such as recruitment, retention, career advancement, training, and promotion—by providing collaborative solutions and support.
